Discussion

Instead of meeting in person we will conduct class online on Monday. Online class means that you respond to the prompt by the end of the day. The presentation for this chapter is up on canvas but you may also need to refer to the book. You may either write a new post or may respond to a post to complete your assignment by 12 p.m. on Monday the 29th.

Do you think “culture” is an overused term? What does it mean? Is culture change possible? What is the relationship between culture, troubles and issues?

Examples of the use of “culture” are as follows:

Beliefs, cultural anchors, cultural relativism, diffusion, ethnocentrism, folkways, globalization, language, subcultures, values, diffusion, cultural particulars, mores and norms are some concepts I would like to see in your post.
