Julian of Norwich – Sacred Femininity Discussion

Julian of Norwich, author of the first English language work by a woman (to our knowledge), is important to the Catholic Church–she was even made a saint within this faith tradition. She is often pointed to as one of the earliest female leaders in the Catholic Church and study of her sometimes prompts discussions about the role of women in the Catholic church today. What was something that struck you about her? What is the current Synod of Bishops event and why are women not allowed to vote as the male participants do? Do you think women should be able to? Why or why not?
