Prospero From The Tempest by William Shakespeare

General Instructions:

Evaluate Prospero’s motivation as it evolves through the course of the play The Tempest by William Shakespeare. Why does he create the initial storm? At what point does his thirst for revenge begin to mellow, and what causes this change? What becomes his new motivation, and how is this change significant?

Note: In classic drama (Shakespeare) the lines, as in poetry, are separated by a slash mark (/). For in-text citation of a classic play, do not use page numbers. Instead, cite the title of the play, the act, scene, and line numbers, with periods and one space separating the numbers. Example: (King Lear 4. 1. 52-53).

Be sure to provide quotes from the play to illustrate and prove your points, followed by the related MLA citation (in paragraph and at a separate work cited page). Your response should be at least 400 words in length, using correct grammar and spellcheck. Do not plagiarize your work.
