Create three pages entries. 1. Something you don’t quite understand (use your reaction to wrestle with the passage and try to make progress in understanding it.) 2. Something you think holds the meaning of the story. Hot spot. 3. Make an GOOD inference about the story. (In your reaction, explain your inference. Why do you think what you think, and could you be wrong?) Note: an inference is an educated guess, so make an intriguing guess about the story that cannot be answered with 100% certainty, but can be supported with some indirect evidence.
