Interpreting Nonverbal Communication
Nonverbal communication replaces, reinforces, and contradicts verbal communication. Describe a time when one of the nine types of nonverbal cues as described in the reading caused you to misinterpret the message in a work situation or a personal setting. Then, using the guidelines for improving nonverbal communication in the textbook, explain how you can keep this from occurring again.
