Choose a character from Carver’s “Cathedral”, and, in at least 750 words, do a detailed analysis of that character by which you argue what you think is the character’s biggest flaw or biggest strength. If you like, you may write about more than one character and compare/contrast them. Make sure to cite the story (or stories) and any outside source(s) you might use in a works-cited section.
