Choose one famous person/group who worked in the popular music industry during the years covered by the course. This may be a performer/ producer/ songwriter or music business promoter. Describe his/her/their life, artistic accomplishments and challenges, and the contributions he/she/they ultimately made to the larger development of rock music. Also explain what attracts you to this person or band.
Approximately 1000 words each (4-5 pages) and making ONE oral presentation of about 5 minutes duration. Please use MLA formatting for the written assignments, and submit them double-spaced and in conventional 12 point font.
