Identify any one poem

1. Identify any one poem from this week’s collection that you find the most interesting/unusual/original and discuss that poem. What does it say that catches your interest and how does it do so – word choice, images, etc.
2. The foods that are the focus in Pablo Neruda’s odes can be read individually or collectively. If you have a favorite ode, what sets this ode apart from the others. If you believe that we should look at them as a whole, present your argument for this way of reading and thinking about the odes.

Remember, the initial post should be between 75 to 150 words and is supposed to open the discussion. The follow-up posts should also not exceed 150 words to keep the exploration of the initial points succinct and focused. Support your analysis with references to specific words, phrases and lines from the poem.
