My thesis statement is this-Based off of Aristotle’s thoughts, Oedipus Rex is the perfect tragedy because throughout the entire play, Oedipus cannot admit to what he has really done, he and Jocasta lie about knowing the truth which influences the fate/decisions of each other, and he tries to escape the fate that is already planned for him, which was unsuccessful.
