Policies and Procedures in an Organization Discussion

Policies and procedures are the life blood of any organization. They serve as the rules that guide all members in the mission to achieve goals and objectives.

In a 1-2 page paper, list at least three criteria used in evaluating the effectiveness of a policy in an organization. In your efforts, answer the following questions: Why do people need to believe in policies and what they represent? What happens in an organization when policies are not followed? Why are policies even needed and why do they need to be evaluated?
